Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra once shared an excellent chemistry. Then there were rumours of an affair followed by a break up. While we can never say if this was really true, we were glad to know that the friendship was intact when Shahid threw a party for buddy Priyanka Chopra.
However, it seems there was a slight misunderstanding. Shahid Kapoor, in an interview to Mumbai Mirror clarified the matter.
When asked about the party he said, "It is something that you guys have decided. I only threw a party. Priyanka's birthday happened to be two days later. It was not a party for her. There were many people who attended it and she was merely one of the guests at my party."
When asked if it is easy being friends with ex-girlfriends he said, "I won't say it's difficult. It is surely tricky, but not impossible. A lot also depends on the kind of break-up you've had."
Well, so much for the surprise birthday party! However, we're glad that PeeCee attended the party, even if it was not for her. That is a start, don't you think?
