Born on August 23, 1981, Gauhar Khan, is an Indian model, VJ & actress who appears in Hindi films. She is the younger sister of actress Nigaar Khan. Gauhar started her acting career with the 2003 film Miss India: The Mystery, a drama revolving around the troubled model.
In 2009, Gauhar participated in the 3rd Season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa & becomes the First Runner-up of the show.
In 2011, Khan along with her sister Nigaar Khan appeared in a TV show The Khan Sisters.
Gauhar achieved further critical and commercial success for her role of of outspoken and rebellious Chand Bibi in the 2012 romantic drama Ishaqzaade, in which she also did two item numbers “Jhalla Walla” & “Chokra Jawaan”.
