Confirmed! Deepika and Varun for 'The Fault In Our Stars' remake

We know that 'Finding Fanny' director Homi Adajania has been zeroed in to direct the remake of Hollywood film 'The Fault In Our Stars'(TFIOS).

Homi, Dinesh Vijan and Fox Star Studios are in it together, again. However, we have reason to believe that the film will star none other than Deepika Padukone opposite Varun Dhawan.

While there have been no official confirmations so far, an industry insider reveals to us that Deepika Padukone & Varun Dhawan will come together for this Hindi Adapation of the global blockbuster.

This will be the third film that will bring Homi and Deepika together after the successful films Cocktail and Finding Fanny.

TFIOS is a story about two youngsters who are terminally ill and fall deeply in love, taking them on an extraordinary journey. The casual approach and humour in the story is said to make it unconventional in treatment. Made on a production budget of $12m, the original movie has grossed over $300m worldwide till date and still counting.

The shoot is set to begin from March 2015.
