Is Salman Khan’s show ‘Bigg Boss 10’ trying to deceive the viewers with its common man theme?

The latest season of Colors reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss 10’ hosted by Salman Khan has brought about a unique concept wherein you see the commoners battling it out against the celebs. But, from what we have discovered, it seems like the common people on the show are not exactly commoners.

That’s because amongst the eight common people on the show, many have already faced the limelight earlier. The Godman on the show, Om Swami is already gaining a lot of attention thanks to his male dominating behavior. He had appeared in a debate where he had slapped a fellow panelist, astrologer Deepa Sharma. Then, the contestant Manoj Punjabi was earlier seen in the reality show, ‘The Bachelorette India: Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika’ where Mallika Sherawat had to find a suitable groom among the eligible bachelors.

The contestant Akansha Sharma was married to Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s brother Zorawar Singh, but the marriage lasted for only 4 months as confessed by the lady herself on the show. Another commoner Navin Prakash too was seen in a debate earlier on a news channel. Contestant Priyanka Jagga also has modelled occasionally.

So we reach to the conclusion that out of the eight common participants only three contestants, Manveer Gujjar, Nitibha Kaul and Lokesh Kumari Sharma are the real “common people” without any links to the glamour world.

So with these kind of developments, the show’s format is surely questionable.
